Jennifer constantly rebuffs the advances of the famous (and heavily married) Herb Tarlek while dating millionaires Oldies with a no-nonsense parade.Created by Hugh Wilson, who drew heavily on his own professional experiences at several local radio stations (most notably the classic season one episode “Turkey Away”), Cincinnati’s WKRP built an almost instant hit that attracted a loyal following of critics and fans, though thanks to CBS’ haphazard programming practices, it never really clicked in the ratings. However, the series ran for four seasons, and its network ended on September 20, 1982.
